San Diego Adventures

Sock Bob's Adventures in San Diego began with a trip to the San Diego Temple with Harper and her Young Women friends to do baptisms for the dead. Of course he didn't go inside, but he had a fun time riding in the car and going to In-n-Out for dinner afterwards.

The next day Sock Bob went school shopping with Harper. Tanner was gone to Safety Patrol Camp the whole week. He had a lot of fun too but Sock Bob wasn't allowed to go.  Harper did a great job shopping for modest, yet cute clothes and Sock Bob was a great help!
After a fun day of shopping!
Just goofing off in the parking lot while we were waiting to pick up Tanner from Safety Patrol Camp.
Once Tanner came home it was time to celebrate! It was the Fourth of July! Although you can't see Sock Bob, he loved all the barbecues and fireworks that came with the Fourth.

Sock Bob also got to help Tanner harvest some veggies from our garden. Look at this giant cucumber! We should have taken a picture with Sock Bob holding it  but he was too scared, because the cucumber was a little poky.

Sock Bob also brought with him a special pair of earrings so Harper took a picture with the earrings on. We don't know what Tanner is doing. . . .

The weekend after the Fourth Grandpa and Grandma came for a visit. They helped with Tanner's crazy birthday party and they were here for the special Sunday when Tanner was ordained a Deacon and received the Aaronic Priesthood.
It was fun to have Sock Bob here to share in these special adventures with us. We can't wait to hear about all the fun things Sock Bob gets to do with the rest of you. Sock Bob left here just in time though. We started school this week!
